Sue Welsby is an international award winning watercolour artist. When she is not travelling, she divides her time between her homes in the United Kingdom and Florida. 

In the USA Sue has won awards with Florida Watercolor Society and Southern Watercolor Society, she has also exhibited in American Watercolor Society. Sue holds Signature Status with Southern Watercolor Society, San Diego Watercolor Society and Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.

Sue has won several awards in the UK at local and national level and was awarded the UK Amateur Artist of the Year in 2018.

Although not formally trained, Sue has taken many classes and workshops from a variety of renowned artists both in the UK and the USA, namely Anne Abgott, Chris Kuprinski and David Poxon.  She has been mentored for many years by multi award winning American artist Anne Abgott.  

When in the UK Sue gives talks and demonstrations to local art groups with the emphasis on encouraging all participants to develop their techniques and enjoy art, regardless of ability.
